Based on the legend of Yamamba in Nakajyo Village, Nagano Prefecture, this play was created and performed by Uzume Theater’s actors and local theater people during a residency. The script was written by playwright Otsuka Emiko of Kitakyushu City based on interviews with an elderly man living in Mushikura-san, where the legend of Yamamba is found.

The play was also performed in Toga Village and Shizuoka City.
